The BMA Scholarship

Lobster Bake Fundraiser

Join us, our family, friends, and community for a full and fun day raising funds for the BMA Scholarship. We will have lobster bakes, a cornhole tournament, a 50/50 raffle, silent auction and raffles. (scroll to the bottom for a list of some items)

Where: Peaks Island Lobster Company, 20 Island Ave, Peaks Island ME 04108

Time: July 12th 2025- 1pm & 4pm - “All hot” style, meaning you eat when they ring the bell.

You may come and go at times you please for this event, but you must choose an eating time, doors will open for drinks at 12pm

Cost: $100 per adult, $25 per child 12 years and under

Ticket includes:

  • A ride in one of our volunteer boats from the Portland Fire Boat dock or the South Portland boat ramp, look for the boats with the purple lobster flag. Rides must have been scheduled before the day of the event. Schedule your ride here. Schedule your ride by end of day on the 11th

  • Lobster bake consisting of one lobster, steamers, potato, corn on the cob. Chicken on the grill and veggie burgers are also available.

  • Appetizer of Oysters from Basket Island Oysters and Blains favorite chicken fries.

  • Dessert of McKenna’s famous Fireball Whiskey cupcake.

  • Entry into the corn hole tournament, at the 1 pm& 4 pm sittings. Signup for the tournament by clicking the link.

Child under 12 ticket includes:

  • The choice of one lobster, chicken, hot dog or burger AND chicken fries and a whoopie pie.


Don’t like lobster 🦞? Busy at eating times. This event is open to the public please feel free to stop by at your leisure to make a donation or check out raffles and auctions

You may come and go at times you please for this event, but you must choose an eating time, doors will open for drinks at 12pm.

You can arrive by the scheduled boat ride times or at your convenience. There are no scheduled departures, as we’d like you to also be able to leave at your convenience.

You do not have to leave before the next scheduled eating time.

Silent Auction / Raffles

This year we will have our second silent auction and raffles to raise funds. Many great items are coming in, LUXURY BOX tickets to a PATRTIOTS game, tickets to WNBA game, tickets to Hearts of Pine game, get away to San Francisco, art pieces, dinners at local restaurants, golfing, boat tours, guitar, designer sunglasses, Baycycle for 15, Polish dinner, Portland Symphony, jewelery and much more.

We are accepting donations for the auction and raffles, please reach out if you would like to donate items, services etc.
